Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) [UX/UI Design, Front-End Development] [2026]

PAHO's Non-State Actors Portal makes information about the organizations in official relations with PAHO publicly accessible and documents how these relationships develop over time. Previously, users had to navigate a long page where search controls competed with the full organizational profile, while collaboration records lacked a clear temporal structure. I redesigned the experience by separating discovery from consultation. Users now begin with a searchable directory and access a dedicated profile for each organization, giving equal weight to both institutional overview and collaboration detail.

DonorBrief [UX/UI Design, Conversation Design, Front-End Development] [2026]

Donor Brief is a conversational tool that helps non-profit teams research the foundations and donors they approach for funding, replacing hours of manual digging through public filings, news coverage and prior correspondence. Every answer opens into a citation drawer, so a claim can be traced back to its source without leaving the conversation. A thread can be turned into a structured, saved briefing at any point, so an open-ended chat becomes something a team can reuse and share. The donor list, the briefing library and the conversation itself all read as one consistent surface.

Order of Certified Accountants [UX/UI Design, Branding, Conversation Design, Front-End Development] [2026]

TOConline is the official software of Portugal's Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados. The challenge was to renew its established brand while making complex accounting workflows easier to navigate. I led the rebranding and redesigned the product experience, translating institutional rules into clearer interactions and streamlining workflows to help accountants complete tasks more efficiently. I also created and managed the design system, ensuring consistency across the platform and supporting its continued development. The new visual identity reinforces the product's professional credibility, while the interface is designed to reduce the time and effort required for everyday accounting work.

UM Institute for Applied Paradox [Branding, UX/UI Design, Front-End Development] [2026]

The UM Institute is Portugal's first think-and-do tank focused on systems innovation and strategic design. The challenge was to create a distinctive brand that reflected the institute's character, supported by a digital experience that would stand out in an era of mass-produced websites. I defined the design strategy and developed the brand's visual identity, then designed the entire digital experience. I also built experimental tools using AI and code.

Worten [UX/UI Design, Design System, UX Research] [2022]

Worten is one of the largest Portuguese companies and as a senior product designer, I participated in building its design system, design operations, and the development of more than 6 internal digital products. During a period of profound digital transformation, I worked with a variety of experiences serving employees from factory floors and physical stores to offices and transportation. The challenge was to build a strong visual system that served diverse products and aligned with a consistent and intuitive digital experience for numerous user groups.

Segurança Social Direta [UX/UI Design, Design System, Accessibility, Front-End Development]

As a senior product designer on the usability team, I played a key role in the largest transformation of Segurança Social Direta, Portugal's online Social Security platform. My work was grounded in UX research and included building and maintaining the design system. I focused on the user experience for the Income and Family service areas, whose complex workflows were closely connected to the rest of the platform. Alongside my day-to-day product design work, I led improvements to the platform's accessibility and restructured its information architecture. By the end of the project's first year, more than 34,000 people had been able to access Social Security services without visiting an office in person.

Immigra Hub [Branding, UX/UI Design, Front-End Development] [2026]

Immigra Hub is a Portuguese GovTech startup that helps immigrants navigate the process of regularizing their residency status. It bridges the gap between immigrants and public institutions by providing clear, reliable information. The challenge was to create a brand that felt trustworthy and approachable in a context often marked by bureaucracy and uncertainty, while designing a digital product that could support the platform's growth. I developed the brand and its visual identity, then designed and built the platform from concept to code.

Arielle Asensi

I am a designer exploring the intersection of AI, product design and strategic innovation. By reflecting on present trajectories of products and proposing tangible interventions, I aim to spark discourse, enable negotiation and facilitate action. My work is characterized by using systems thinking to draft emerging ideas early and discuss them openly. I studied Industrial Design at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Design at IADE Lisbon and Sociology at NOVA Lisbon University. I have worked across a range of areas such as public administration, retail, accountancy, data transparency and the creative industry. I founded the first Portuguese think-and-do tank focused on strategic design and systems innovation for societal transformation. I advance a hybrid approach to problem-solving and pattern recognition that is focused on reducing cognitive load and simplifying decisions in digital products. I am also pursuing a postgraduate degree in Neuroscience and Behavior at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul.
